It is time for Nebraska to prepare for climate change. Donald Wilhite wrote an opinion article for the Omaha World-Herald pertaining to the impact of climate change. He states that climate change will "result in significant changes in evaporation rates, soil moisture and ground water levels" which would be detrimental to Nebraska's "economy, its land and water resources and the well-being of current and future generations".
