No raging fires, coastal storm surges, or hurricanes in Nebraska.But changing climate and greater weather extremes here for us in heartland just the same. And they do carry important implications for us today and into the future.
The Federal Government released the 4th National Climate Assessment Report, [https://nca2018.globalchange.gov] on November 23, 2018. Martha Shulski, who serves as Nebraska State Climatologist and is an Associate Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, was one of the Contributing Authors on the Northern Great Plains chapter.
