Local View: Planting hope for the future

“Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children” --- Native American Proverb.

This proverb says a lot about the situation we are in today with Climate Change. The future of our children and grandchildren is being set by decisions made by our generation and those who preceded us. However, it is our children and grandchildren that will bear the brunt of the consequences of those decisions. Whatever your views on climate change and it’s causes, most all can agree that we want the best for our children and grandchildren. We are the last generation that can change the course of climate change.
